Job Descriptions

Resident Counselors/Activity instructor

We seek individuals who enjoy working with kids and realize the importance of being proper role models -- positive individuals of even temperament who are energetic, flexible, patient, sensitive and fun-loving. Having an interest in golf, tennis, hiking, biking, or swimming would be helpful. You will reside in a room with 4 campers and will have a major impact on their summer camp experience. First Aid/CPR certifications a plus.


Resident Counselors/Lifeguard

We seek individuals who have experience life guarding and/or instructing swimming, who enjoy working with kids and realize the importance of being proper role models -- positive individuals of even temperament who are energetic, flexible, patient, sensitive and fun-loving. having an interest in golf, tennis, hiking, or biking would be helpful. You will reside in a room with 4 campers and will have a major impact on their summer camp experience. First Aid/CPR/Lifeguard certifications required.

Director of Swimming

We seek an individual to lead the swimming program, who enjoy working with kids and realize the importance of being proper role models -- positive individuals of even temperament who are energetic, flexible, patient, sensitive and fun-loving. Having an interest in golf, tennis, hiking, biking, or swimming. A WSI certifications required.

If you wish to apply please download an application Most counselors live in a room with 4 campers. All counselors teach or assist in a program area. We also need staff who are "program heads" and who can supervise entire program areas.

Requirements for Counselors

To be considered for employment as a Counselor/Instructor you must have:
· Desire and ability to work with children outdoors.
· Ability to relate to one's peer group.
· Ability to accept supervision and guidance.
· Ability to assist and/or teaching an activity.
· Good character, integrity, and adaptability.
· Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control.
· One year of college or at least 19 years of age.
